The PCI Oeste Pact began in the municipality of Tangar\u00e1 da Serra Tangar\u00e1 in 2022 and since 2023 has expanded its operations in surrounding municipalities through the \u201cCons\u00f3rio Oeste\u201d formed by the PCI Institute, Proforest, Produzindo Certo and the Amazon Environmental Research Institute (IPAM). In 2024, the Oeste Pact signed Memorandums of Understanding (MoU) with the city governments of Tangar\u00e1 da Serra, Diamantino and Alto Paraguai and in 2025 with the municipalities of Sapezal and Campos de J\u00falio. The region is a major producer of commodities (soybean, corn and cotton), in addition to livestock production and, to a lesser extent, family farming products.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
